On February 28th, the most recent BC PNP draw issued over 188 invitations to apply (ITAs) in focused rounds for permanent residency (PR). This draw targeted specific occupations in demand in BC, including tech, healthcare, construction, and early childhood education.

In the BC PNP Express Entry and Skills Immigration streams, 90 invitations were issued for 35 eligible tech occupations. 

Another area of focus was early childhood educators and assistants, with 45 invitations going to applicants able to work with young children (NOC 42202).

12 invites also went to workers in 25 construction-related positions, were invited for British Columbia’s new category-based draw, introduced in late 2023.

Finally, 41 healthcare practitioners and assistants received invitations, spanning 39 eligible occupations.
