As compared to the first draw of 2024, the first draw in 2023 took place on January 4th, 2023 a total of 211 invitations to apply were sent with the highest score of 105. BC PNP ended the year  2023 by inviting 230 candidates with a minimum score of 90 under Skilled Worker, International Graduate (includes EEBC option), this draw focused on childcare: early childhood educators and assistants, construction, healthcare, and tech.
BC PNP focused more on inviting candidates from Tech, Health care, and Early childhood streams which denotes that it had a labor shortage. We are predicting that this trend will continue in 2024 especially since BC issued invitations to childcare and healthcare candidates.
