IRCC Issues 7,000 ITAs in Draw for French Speakers
The department has extended Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to 7,000 candidates in the latest Express Entry draw. This draw holds particular importance as it specifically focuses on French language proficiency.
Cut-Off Score
The eligibility criteria for candidates included a minimum score of 365 on the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS). This marks the lowest minimum CRS score required this year, highlighting the emphasis on linguistic skills, particularly in French.
This helps Canada reach its immigration targets for francophones by explicitly focusing on fluent French speakers living outside of Quebec.
