INVITATIONS WERE ISSUED OINP DRAW

On March 19th, Ontario conducted two draws through the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP Draw) under the Master’s Graduate Stream and PhD Graduate Stream, resulting in a total of 1,474  invitations for permanent residency (PR).

Masters Graduate Stream Invitations

1,370 profiles created under the Master’s Graduate Stream were invited to participate in a general drawing by OINP Draw if their Expression of Interest score was 52 or above. The previous draw in this stream, which took place on January 24, 2024, had a lower score range of 50 and above; however, this draw saw a 2-point gain.

PhD Graduate Stream Invitations

All EOI profiles with a score of 42 or higher received one of the 104 invitations to apply for the PhD graduate stream that was sent out in the second draw. This draw saw a decrease in the score range by 3 points and invited fewer candidates whose profiles were created during 19th March 2023- 19th March 2024. The previous draw that was held on January 24, 2024 invited 125 candidates.
