Ontario’s OINP Conducts 3 Draws, Issues 2,639 PR Invitations to International Students

Ontario OINP Conducts Draws

On March 12th, Ontario conducted three new draws through the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) under the International Student Stream, resulting in a total of 2,639 invitations for permanent residency (PR).

The first draw targeted general international student profiles, issuing 1,306 invitations to apply for PR. Eligible candidates with Ontario OINP Conducts Draws Expression of Interest (EOI) profiles scoring 72 or higher were invited.

In a targeted draw for 63 skilled trade occupations, 649 invitations were sent to profiles scoring 66 and higher.

Additionally, another targeted draw for 41 healthcare and 15 tech occupations resulted in 684 invitations for profiles scoring 72 and above.

Previously, on February 8th, a total of 2,434 invitations were issued under the OINP International Student Stream through similar general and targeted rounds, including healthcare and tech occupations.
