Second OINP Express Entry Draw
The second OINP Express Entry draw of 2024 was held on January 18, and 984 Notifications of Interest (NOIs) for provincial nomination were sent out by the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP).
Requirements for the OINP French-speaking Skilled Worker Stream
In this draw, only profiles that satisfied the requirements for the OINP French-speaking Skilled Worker stream were asked to submit claims for provincial nominations.
This draw was limited to OINP Express Entry Draw profiles with a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score between 317 and 469 that were formed between January 18, 2023, and January 18, 2024.
Eligibility for the OINP French Speaking Skilled Worker stream
- Candidate must have a valid OINP Express Entry Draw profile under the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP) or Canadian Experience Class (CEC) in order to be eligible to be considered for the OINP Express Entry Draw French-Speaking Skilled Worker draws.
- Candidate must possess a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree from Canada, or a degree equivalent from another nation.
- Candidates also need to have at least a CLB level 7 on the French language proficiency test (TCF/TEF Canada) AND at least a level 6 on the English language proficiency test (IELTS/CELPIP) of the Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB).
- Candidates must provide proof of sufficient settlement must have enough money to sustain their dependant family members as well as themselves.
One or more of the following methods, alone or in combination, can help you fulfill this requirement:
- Funds as indicated by the balance shown on bank statements or account statements that display other investments such as mutual funds, fixed-term deposits, non-locked-in deposits, etc.
- Annual income from a continuous job in Ontario
- An Ontario job offer
- Intention to reside in Ontario, as evidenced by one or more of the following:
- Employment status or history of employment in Ontario
- Receiving employment offers, applying for jobs, interviewing for jobs, learning, volunteering, owning or renting real estate, and maintaining personal, familial, and professional networks
