The Keele Campus is a vibrant community center that is made even more pleasurable by being conveniently located near important cultural and commercial centers in the Toronto area. 

The programs that form the basis of Glendon, York University’s founding campus, are complemented with a focus on worldwide interaction. There, instruction is given in an interesting and diverse environment. 30% of students choose to study in three or more languages, and all students are helped in developing their international competence and English and French proficiency.

Sood – an international student from India  in Glendon Campus gives her review during her time studying sociology and says “When I came from high school, I didn’t truly believe in myself that I could succeed, but Glendon’s peers and the atmosphere they fostered restored my confidence in my own skills and sense of capability. I’m capable of doing this.  

Research Excellence and Vast Courses

A variety of “first-of-its-kind” features of Keele Campus are also present, such as the Disaster and Emergency Management program, which is run by several prominent academics in this newly-emerging field. The only university in Canada that grants degrees in emergency and catastrophe management at both the undergraduate and graduate levels is York University.

Funded by the Fisher Fund for Neotropical Conservation, Las Nubes is a program managed by York University’s Faculty of Environmental and Urban Change in Toronto, Canada, and is situated in the southern area of Costa Rica. Protecting the social, cultural, and ecological qualities of the populations residing in the Alexander Skutch ecological Corridor is the project’s main goal.
