Express Entry Draw

On 26th March, Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) held its Second Express Entry draw of the week, targeting French Speakers. The department created the standards after the unexpected general express entry draw on March 25, 2024, which increased our expectations for more category based draws during the week.

Aiming for profiles with a CRS score of 388 and strong French fluency, the most recent Express Entry Draw, which took place on March 26, gave out 1,500 invites for permanent residency.

As compared to the previous French Language Express Entry draw held on February 29th 2024, this draw experienced a rise in CRS score by 52 points and a sharp decline in ITA’s by 1000.

2024 Draw Expectations

The IRCC declared that in 2024, it will continue to offer the same Express Entry categories.French-speaking workers, STEM workers, transportation workers, tradespeople, and agricultural and agrifood workers are among the six Express Entry categories.

Opportunity for French Speakers

The organizers of the draw are actively engaging in outreach initiatives and strategic partnerships with French-speaking communities worldwide. They are ensuring that French speakers worldwide are aware of the attraction and are urged to participate by utilizing already-existing networks and platforms.

French-speaking users are given special consideration during the actual drawing process. Every effort is being made to ensure that French speakers feel included and welcomed throughout the process, including the provision of language support services and specialized communication channels.
