British Columbia Issues 79 PNP Invitations in Latest Draw

On May 14, 2024, British Columbia extended approximately 79 invitations to immigration candidates through the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). This draw invited candidates from various streams, including Childcare, Construction, Healthcare, Tech, and Veterinary care.

Minimum Score For PNP

The minimum score for this round of invitations ranged between 80 and 122 for various categories.

Childcare and Construction Streams

For the Childcare stream, the minimum score requirement was set at 93, with 5 invitations issued. The Construction stream saw a minimum score of 93 as well, with 9 invitations.

Healthcare Stream

Healthcare professionals had a higher minimum score of 100, but the number of invitations was 10. The Tech stream had the highest minimum score of 122, with 50 invitations granted.

Lastly, the Veterinary care stream had a minimum score requirement of 80, with fewer than 5 invitations issued.

This draw highlights British Columbia’s continued efforts to attract skilled workers across various sectors, ensuring a diverse and talented workforce for the province’s economic growth.

Candidates selected for this most recent BC PNP draw now have 30 days to complete and submit their applications for permanent residency to the BC PNP. Those who weren’t invited will remain in the candidate pool and may receive an invitation in the next BC PNP draw.
