Manitoba Immigration Draw Invites 327 Candidates

In its most recent round of invites, the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) distributed 327 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) for the #215 Expression of Interest draw on April 24, 2024.

Skilled Worker in Manitoba – Completed Study 203 candidates who have completed post-secondary education in Manitoba, either themselves or their spouses, received LAAs. The lowest-ranked candidate scored 811 points.

International Education Stream 66 invitations went to international graduates with at least 4 years of recent work experience who declared eligibility for the International Education Stream.

Skilled Worker Overseas – Strategic Recruitment The MPNP directly invited 58 overseas skilled worker candidates under its Strategic Recruitment Initiatives, with the lowest-ranked candidate scoring 644 points.

Alignment with Express Entry

Aligned with Express Entry Of the 327 LAAs that were granted, 68 were nominated to applicants who had valid job seeker validation codes and Express Entry profiles, enabling a quicker route to permanent residency.

Important messages were sent by the MPNP, outlining requirements such as legitimate language test numbers, invitation numbers for targeted recruitment campaigns, and documentation of post-secondary education completion in Manitoba. Candidates were advised to review the criteria carefully before accepting the invitation.

MPNP’s Role in Manitoba Immigration Draw Strategy

The Provincial Nominee Program, which facilitates Manitoba Immigration Draw for skilled workers, international students, and overseas recruitment prospects across occupations in demand in the province, is one way Manitoba is courting talent. This draw shows this commitment.

Next Steps for Successful Candidates

Successful candidates will need to submit a complete application upon receiving their LAA, progressing towards the goal of Canadian permanent residence and settling in Manitoba.
