Alignment with Express Entry
Aligned with Express Entry Of the 327 LAAs that were granted, 68 were nominated to applicants who had valid job seeker validation codes and Express Entry profiles, enabling a quicker route to permanent residency.
Important messages were sent by the MPNP, outlining requirements such as legitimate language test numbers, invitation numbers for targeted recruitment campaigns, and documentation of post-secondary education completion in Manitoba. Candidates were advised to review the criteria carefully before accepting the invitation.
MPNP’s Role in Manitoba Immigration Draw Strategy
The Provincial Nominee Program, which facilitates Manitoba Immigration Draw for skilled workers, international students, and overseas recruitment prospects across occupations in demand in the province, is one way Manitoba is courting talent. This draw shows this commitment.
Next Steps for Successful Candidates
Successful candidates will need to submit a complete application upon receiving their LAA, progressing towards the goal of Canadian permanent residence and settling in Manitoba.
