Manitoba Immigration Draw Invites 327 Candidates

The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) has conducted its latest round of invitations, issuing 327 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) in the #215 Expression of Interest draw on April 24, 2024. This draw aimed to welcome skilled workers and international graduates through various MPNP streams.

Skilled Worker in Manitoba – Completed Study 203 candidates who have completed post-secondary education in Manitoba, either themselves or their spouses, received LAAs. The lowest-ranked candidate scored 811 points.

International Education Stream 66 invitations went to international graduates with at least 4 years of recent work experience who declared eligibility for the International Education Stream.

Skilled Worker Overseas – Strategic Recruitment The MPNP directly invited 58 overseas skilled worker candidates under its Strategic Recruitment Initiatives, with the lowest-ranked candidate scoring 644 points.

Express Entry Aligned Nominations of the total 327 LAAs issued, 68 were issued to candidates with valid Express Entry profiles and job seeker validation codes, allowing an expedited path to permanent residence.

The MPNP provided important notes clarifying criteria like valid language test numbers, invitation numbers for strategic recruitment initiatives, and proving completion of post-secondary education in Manitoba. Candidates were advised to review the criteria carefully before accepting the invitation.

This draw demonstrates Manitoba’s commitment to attracting talent through the Provincial Nominee Program, facilitating immigration for skilled workers, international students, and overseas recruitment candidates across occupations in-demand in the province.

Successful candidates will need to submit a complete application upon receiving their LAA, progressing towards the goal of Canadian permanent residence and settling in Manitoba.
