OINP Draws – January 24 sent 1,469 Invitations for Permanent Residency

Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP Draws)

On January 24, the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP Draws) executed a pivotal general draw, extending 1,469 Invitations for Permanent Residency. 

A concerted effort was made to identify and extend targeted Notifications of Interest to 1,344 candidates in the Masters Graduate Stream with a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 50 and above, showcasing the province’s commitment to attracting highly skilled individuals.

Simultaneously, 125 candidates in the PhD Graduate Stream were selected, each possessing a CRS score of 45 and above, further emphasizing Ontario’s interest in fostering a talented and educated immigrant community.

OINP Draws Economic Mobility Pathways Project (EMPP) Draw – January 24, 2024

Additionally, in a strategic move to advance the Economic Mobility Pathways Project, a targeted draw was conducted, resulting in the issuance of 12 invitations to selected candidates. The targeted EMPP draw helps refugee claimants transition to permanent residence in Ontario.

This specialized draw serves a dual purpose by not only identifying individuals who align with the EMPP’s goals but also facilitating a crucial transition for refugee claimants into permanent residency in Ontario. The targeted nature of this draw underscores the province’s commitment to providing opportunities for individuals facing unique circumstances, aligning with broader objectives to create inclusive pathways for skilled individuals and fostering a diverse and resilient community in Ontario.

Invited candidates now have 14 days to submit an application supporting the information in their Expression of Interest profile in order to be considered for permanent residency (PR) in Ontario.

AN OVERVIEW OF THE OINP DRAWS 2024 EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI) SUMMARY.

A total of 4,586 invites for permanent residency have been sent out as a result of the OINP Draws Expression of Interest.

The Foreign Worker stream has received the most invites thus far, with 3,117, trailed only by the Masters Graduate stream, which has received over 1,300 invitations.
