PNP DRAW FEBRUARY 21ST 2024

High-scoring applicants who applied under each PNP category are regularly invited by British Columbia through the BC PNP draw, which grants them permanent residence and employment rights.

February 21, 2024 BC PNP Draw: Invitations and Categories

On 21st February 2024 British Columbia PNP draw issued over 212 invitations to apply (ITAs) in general rounds for permanent residency (PR) as well as targeted rounds of invitations.

Emphasis on Tech, Entry Level, and Semi-Skilled Workers

69 invitations under the Express Entry and BC PNP Skills Immigration streams have been given out in a general BC PNP draw (which includes 35 tech occupations). It also saw a rise of cut off score by 2 points in general draw for  express entry for entry level and semi skilled. There was an increase in cutoff score by 4 points comparable to the February 6, in  general draw for all streams. 

Focus on Early Childhood Educators and Helpers

A further emphasis area involved early childhood educators and helpers NOC 42202, where 70 invitations were sent to candidates qualified to work with young children.

New Category-Based Draws for Construction and Healthcare

PNP Draw February 21st 2024 only 32 applicants with experience in 25 construction-related occupations were invited for British Columbia’s new category-based draw.

Finally Invitations to apply for permanent residency were sent to 41 profiles that were built and included experience in 39 healthcare-related professions.

The BC PNP Draw February 21st 2024 often hosts draws with the goal of drawing in talent from around the globe to support ongoing success. The next stages for those who were invited to apply for permanent residency in British Columbia are currently in progress.

By giving priority to jobs in technology, construction, education, and healthcare, the province hopes to meet specific labor market demands while simultaneously advancing British Columbia’s general development.
